Morphology, Distribution, and Habitat (Hickman, 1993)

The seed is 0.5-1 millimeter and puberulent. The plant is found in salt marshes and alkalin flats. It is distributed along the coast to Alaska and Baja, California and in the San Joaquin Valley.
